Landmark Ruling On Financial Settlements In Civil Partnerships:

A woman won a landmark Supreme Court bid to keep her property and assets obtained just upon entering into a civil partnership in the bid from her ex-partner to seek ownership of the property in which they lived. The case involved Temitayo Eton and Christopher Smith, who lived together for nearly 20 years in a civil union registered under S23 of the Civil Partnership Law 2004.

Fifty-nine partners have headed for the exit doors outside of Asia since the firm announced its plan to trim 10 percent of its total workforce.
